Fencebay

I remember Fencebay, you, your house and your father's Vauxaul Cresta, quite a car. Black Rock was good for swimming because of the greater water depth. I remember the bogie trips to the rock along the track when they built the boom piles.  Great speed down into the sea!

Black Rock was a great place for  a day out. I remember  doing bogie trips! My sister, Dilys & I lived in Montgomerie Drive 1960 to 65. Seems a magical time in my memory.

They were magical years, fishing from our dinghy in the firth and swimming. And generally messing about. Does anybody know what became of Vivienne Page, or Mike Drayton who had the old MTB and did some diving work at Hunterston? I'm living in Barrhead now but get down to Fairlie from time to time.
