FAIRLIE TODDLERS
If you are free on a Wednesday or Friday morning and have a child aged between 0 and 4, why not pop along to the Village Hall to meet other mums and let your wee ones play in a safe environment. Our Toddler group is run by mothers and we only raise funds to provide toys, equipment and activities for the children. We are open from 10 am till 11.30am and we set out the toys at 9.30am.The cost is £1.50 per session per family which includes tea/coffee for mums and snack and drink for the children. If you are a new mum and are feeling anxious about coming along for the first time don't worry-we've all been there. Walking into a room where you don't know anybody can be very daunting, but trust me, you will soon be put at ease as we are a friendly group (and let's face it, it's got to be better than being stuck at home, climbing the walls with a toddler throwing a temper tantrum!) Sharing the experiences that we have with our children (and having a good moan sometimes!) with other mums is what the group is all about, and knowing that we are not alone going through those sleepless nights - and everything else that motherhood can bring.
There are plenty of toys and activities for your wee ones to enjoy in our spacious hall. We have a slide and a see-saw, plenty of ride-on cars, trikes and bikes. For our messy munchkins we have playdoh, aquadraw, stickers, pens, paints and water play. We have role play activities including the dressing up box, kitchen and shopping equipment. We have some old favourites such as the wooden trainsets and farmset, and new favourites like Bob the Builder toys. We also cater for new babies, so please don't think that your newborn is too young to come along.
We really need some new mums and tots to come and join us at Fairlie Toddlers as our attendance records have shown a decline over the past year. If you would like more information and a free first session to the group telephone Stacey 01475 568341
